it's not about what other people think but it's about me. I kind of lost my confidence and don't feel attractive anymore. Also, I've become more self-conscious

How did you deal with it? Did it get better after a while?

I also have an open bite and this is my second time with braces. My open bite is due to tongue thrust and we're going to fix it only with the regular braces
