I was just de-braced yesterday and im kind of a heavy smoker. I had ceramics, and had no issues with staining brackets. My powertrains and elastics would stain though.

Just went for my adjustment. I have elastics now and the rectangular archwires now, but they said my next appt could be my final wire. I am so thrilled!

Curious as to how many sets of wires are used? I'm going tomorrow for my 3rd set (been braced almost 9 MONTHS now). I was initially given an 18-22 month sentence. I'm curious if my treatment time will go down since my teeth have already straightened out?

I never had an issue with my Spring. I had it on for 2 months. My one tooth was too far back so they had to tie my tooth/bracket to the wire. It took 4 months for them to be able to actually engage that tooth to the wire itself. It wasn't terrible at all.

I started to notice about a month in. Even people I work with noticed. I'm 4 months in now and have one silly snuggle tooth that is being a bit difficult but my tops have fully aligned now. It's amazing. I took photos once a week and compared them. You will start to see a difference soon!

Curious as to how often you have your teeth Cleaned while braced? My actual dentist told me every 6 months but I'd like to go more often. Getting your teeth Cleaned more often , will that affect the look of my teeth once my braces are off? Moreso meaning thr higher chance of white squares on my teet...

I smoke daily.
I eat chips and most of the time my wire pops out. Can't tell you how many times I've had to pop it back in.
I drink coffee and tea.
I'm obsessed with those little gum brand floss sticks.
I eat pizza with crust.
I eat gummy candies but it takes awhile... lol

Just 9 short weeks ago I was braced. I just hAve to share my progreys! So incredibly happy with my results so far. Dont mind the up the nose shot!
