I started wearing a night guard some nights and am struggling to get used to it. My dentist said it might help with my jaw tension and headaches. Anyway Yes I think I have bene biting into it hard in my sleep ... maybe this just happens until you get used to it being there? And also I have woken up ...

Well I booked a couple of consultation appointments ... they aren't until the end of April or beginning of May but they're on the books at least ... now just trying not to overthink it too much before then I've enjoyed reading all your posts but so much to take in ... and maybe too much for someone ...

How is it going? I really hope you've found a path forward. If the chat with the Orthodontist doesn't help ... have you considered a therapist? (sorry I know that's personal, you don't have to answer here just hope you find whatever you need to get through this slump)

Wishing you luck as I may be getting started soon to correct my own deep bite issues. Great to hear that you don't need surgery afterall! Reading online about this has been so mixed some people seem to have good luck with just braces and others say surgery is the only way to fix it. I guess everyone...
