16 when I got mine... still 16.

Yea the time period seems a bit odd... When I got mine my teeth hurt for about 5 days maximum... with slight numbness for the following week. I'm not a dentist but I'd get that checked out.

I got

- Cheap elec. toothbrush

-basic dentistry stuff the regular dentist would give

- wax (which I never use)

- those weird colour exposing plaque pills...

- And a METRIC TONNE of elastics for some reason... returned like two bags... and I changed my elastic 4 times a day.

Welcome to Calgary! Not sure about the surgery part, and not sure if you still need an orthodontist, but a good one is myOrthodontist, there's two locations in the city, and they're excellent. it's where I go.

that sounds painful... geez... currently I have 3 to 3, not sure when i'll get a 6 to 6, my orthodontist uses white powerchains for the smaller parts so I don't have any colour.... it sucks.

As long as you brush them, they won't stain... they shouldn't stain anyways, but its best to brush 'em. mine haven't stained and coffee is my best friend.
