I have a high canine and I can't imagine what it will be like to have it at the same level as the rest of my teeth. I'm just so used to it at this stage. It will be exciting to see what the end result is

My orthodontist wanted to take out four premolars, but I got him to just take out one at first, and see how it goes. I just couldn't face more extractions after my wisdom teeth. I have my braces now, and the right premolar, upper, was taken out to make space for the adjacent canine to come down.

I hate flossing and never did it much before, but I guess with braces I will need to, due to the increased risk of dental plaque. It always makes my gums feel sore, and my teeth are very close together.

Good luck! How are Damon braces different to normal ones?

Your teeth look great! I think everyone's teeth are different, so it can be hard to compare between people. I'm sure the orthodontist knows what s/he is doing.

I'm going to be 30 and I just got braces today, it's never too late and teeth are with you all your life!

Same age as me! I have to get one premolar out..and maybe three more(I really really hope not) I'm getting ceramic braces. Looking forward to it!
