Not in pain or anything so far! The thing that's bothering me the most is this little part sticking off the band on one side. One one side I feel like it's closer in and it's not causing me any trouble... the other side sticks out a bit more and, especially when eating, is totally in the way.

1030 tomorrow is the day! Getting nervous... I hope it's not TOO painful. The spacers haven't been too much fun. Any advice?

Yes... but I think it's fine. Everyone is shocked that I'm getting braces because they don't "see" that I need them as my mouth, generally looks ok... BUT there are little things I notice...and hopefully I will have less cavities as well.

It's much better... but still hurts to eat. Hoping brackets and wires don't bring too much more pain than this and that I'm able to enjoy Christmas dinner!

Hello! I just got my spacers yesterday, in prep for (ceramic) brace placement on next Tuesday. My mouth hurts. :( My husband says the spacers hurt more than the brackets/wires themselves. True for you? I must admit I do feel a bit silly going into the ortho with all the teens and such. Will the pain...
