Sliding Genioplasty Relapse / plate removal

Anyone have any relapse after a sliding genioplasty?

Has anyone had their plate and screws removed after sliding genioplasty? If so, did the chin stay in the surgically advanced position or was there relapse?

Wow that sounds intense. So I have a few questions: how many mm were you advanced to begin with? When you felt the bone moving, was that also when the swelling started?
