I think Damon 3's are great. I can brush my teeth normally (I hear normal braces are annoying to clean), food rarely gets stuck in it, and it's as if I don't even have them except the usual pain that braces cause. They supposedly work faster and don't hurt when they are taken off (normal braces do)....

I use it because even the burning feels better than gingivitis which I get alot with braces.

When I got Invisalign they said not to wash my sets in Listerine. Was this because it doesn't work or because it will ruin the plastic? Now I use the invisalign bottom as a retainer and have metal braces on top. Am I allowed to rinse my mouth with Listerine and then put my Invisalign set back in or ...

That happens to me too. I take my bottom retainer out in my sleep!! When I put it back in my teeth have already moved.

My teeth hurt SO much when they close the brackets after putting in a new wire. The brackets never want to close so it's very painful because of the force they exert. It gets worse each visit.

I had them and I have very minor teeth problems. A gap and a tooth needed to be pulled down more. They didn't fix either and I ended up having to get metal braces. The invisalign delayed it by 5 months.

The braces I have now would have been off 5 months sooner if I had just chosen metal first.

It's so your roots can heal. If they move stuff too soon it will damage your roots.

I agree. My dentist still hasn't told me how long my braces will be on and that makes me kind of glad, because I'm not dwelling on it. It probably makes time go by quicker.
