Sorry to hear your story... I am on the same boat. I am extremely unhappy with my result. My upper jaw is way too forward left me with mouth protruding look. :-( I am now waiting till it is 6 months so the surgeon will talk to me and probably plan a revision surgery. But all these 6 months it feels ...

I am 2.5 months post op and had the same issue. My surgeon keeps saying I look pretty.
But after 6 months if i am not happy he will do the revision for me. I am just not sure if I should do it with him for the second time.
I am curious how did it go with your daughter.

Please think twice! and think hard.
I had problem with underbite and very self conscious about my look. I went for the orthodontic and surgery hoping it would improve my appearance. The result has turned me down big time. Now I want my old face back so badly but it is impossible.

I think upper jaw widen and moved forward gave such a impact to make mid-face looks broader. It could work for some people who has small/narrow upper jaw to balance the face but not for everybody. Speaking from my experience, I had my upper jaw moved forward 3 mm, up 4 mm and tilted to the front gav...

forgot to add " waterpik" with the lowest setting it was really useful for me to keep my mouth clean after operation. But please check with your surgeon before start using it...
