I get them randomly, out of the blue. I'll pick up some L-Lysine next time I see it. I'm willing to try anything to help! Orajel is only a temporary help, the Orajel mouthwash burns then tastes horrible. I'm at my wits end! I'll also be asking my dentist about a mouthwash too! Thanks for the ideas!

I picked up a waterpik the day after I got my braces put on, and am so glad I did! The first time using it was a lot of fun, I got water all over the place! I've got it down to a good practice now and my teeth and bathroom are clean!

I've had my braces for about 3 weeks now and have buildups in my molars. Needless to say, I can't eat real well either. It's an awful slow and methodical process! Hopefully it'll get better sooner rather than later!

I'm 41. Got my braces on three weeks ago. So far, so good, though I'd kinda like to take them off for a little while. I guess it's a good thing I went conventional over invisalign!

My first post! In the two weeks that I've had these on, I've had coffee daily, a couple glasses of red wine, and today I chomped on a couple pieces of ice! I was so afraid something was going to break off, but it sure felt good on my mouth. I'm all torn up today and nothing is helping. But that ice....
