So for some reason I have double wires. It starts at the back on the left and goes all the way around to my exposed canine on the right. My ortho isnt the most chatty dude so I was wondering if any of you guys knew what this does?

Thanks guys, I got them on tuesday (now Thursday) and my anxiety was pretty bad Wednesday but today I got over It and I was fine!

I'm 22 years old and I got braces two weeks ago. For like the first hour, I was terrified of smiling in public. But I went up to my colleagues and just announced I got braces and everyone was like "oh nice." Turns out there are SO many more people with adult braces these days than before....

So im getting metal braces in 2 days and im terrified about how they will look on me. Every time I think about looking in the mirror and seeing them on my teeth I have a panic attack. Oh and I was really annoyed because for a 10:15 appointment I got in for the xrays at 10:50 and had to wait for ages to see the actual ortho. I left the orthodontist at 12:30 bit ridiculous I think.

Got 3d xrays + impressions done today. The 3d xrays were really cool. My canines are all good to come down. My exposure surgery is scheduled for the 2nd of October. The impressions werent that bad just tasted gross! Top braces are going ahead for august 25th.
