The reason why I don't have a bonded wire on my upper teeth is because of my bite. There's no space for a bonded wire because I still bite down very close to the back of my front teeth. There's a major risk of biting the wire and it may come loose. Believe me, I have asked my ortho for one but he to...

I have an Essix retainer for my upper teeth and a bonded wire on my lower front teeth. I use the retainer a couple of nights every week. This tooth moving is the premolar (4:th) tooth ie the tooth after the last bonded tooth. On my upper jaw everything is OK. The ortho think I might have had some ba...

Thanks for your support. As it has only been a year since debanding I thought that it would be a bad idea not fixing it. My ortho also doing it for free as he found it a bit strange that the bite changed that quickly. I'm an adventures man so I couldn't resist trying standard metal brackets. Wink Ho...

LOL. I felt the same as I was very used to my braces and never had any big trouble wearing them. I found the experince wearing them very interesting and bombarded my ortho with all kind of questions. I never needed any fancy stuff more than the brackets and some wire changing. At first I felt a bit ...

Braces again
Hi I'm braced again. I wore braces from 2007-01-20 until 2009-06-12 and got a pretty good result. Sadly one tooth decided to make life a bit difficult for me. A month ago I notice that one of my premolars had shifted. When telling my orthodontist this he decided to brace me again and bring the tooth...

Well worth the money and time spent. I never had any pain so I can't tell if that's worth it but I guess it is. Sadly my bite has shifted some so my ortho is putting me in braces again. Roughly a year after my bottom braces come off one tooth shifted pretty bad so I'm in for yet a time wearing brace...

Debanding day
Hi Went to the ortho at 13.30 today. Only got the upper braces removed. One of my lower teeth haven't found the right position so the lower braces will stay on for a few more weeks. I also got one bracket replaced with a metal bracket in order to try rotate the tooth easier. Sure feels weird without...

Soon brace free?
Hi As usual I haven't been here for a while and now it's time to remove the braces. The debanding date are set to november 20:th. Hopefully they will be removed but I have some doubt as a few teeth don't seem to be proper aligned. I want them better aligned but I leave that for the ortho to decide. ...

Katarina527 I'm very well adjusted as I have had them for almost 21 months :D . I can't say I had any trouble at all adjusting to them. At first I found them a bit PITA but it pasted very quickly. My worst case scenario was that everybody would stare at my teeth and ask a lot of question why I need...

Hi Lela Welcome and good luck with the brace journey. The ceramic clear braces looks good but unfortunally the clear ligature won't stay clean very long. I started to use colored ligatures instead and really like the black ones. By the way. I'm almost 40 and started this adventure at 38 and haven't...
