I think your photos look fine! There's no point in questioning the past because it's over and you can't undo surgery. Forget the TADs. Life is short, so why waste time worrying about things you can't change? Accept who you are today.

I don't know about your teeth, but your profile looks fine to me. You could spend tens of thousands of dollars on oromaxillary surgery, but why? Things could end up much worse than where you are today. Just my 2 cents.

Sounds like there was either a serious misunderstanding or deception. That said, just go with the treatment, it's not the end of the world. Most people don't care and adult braces are very common these days.

Agree with veneers or bonding to fill in the space around the teeth if it's really bothering you. I don't think that more orthodontics will do much, but I'm not a dentist!

It sounds like you really need some treatment (surgery, ortho, whatever)... Does it really matter how many orthodontic patients are men?

I'm also in the camp that says that orthodontics should be done by properly trained and qualified orthodontists.

My understanding is that powerchains close gaps. I don't know what lingual braces you're using, but if it's Incognito, the archwire is custom designed to move your teeth to very specific positions, and one tooth should not be protruding if the treatment is at or near completion.

Looks like a good appliance, and on both sides of the teeth, so I suppose it's at least partially lingual!

Is Invisalign an option? There are some orthodontic tooth movements that are either not possible with Invisalign or much easier to achieve with braces.

I didn't experience this. It may not be the best time to have veneers put on during active orthodontic treatment.

From what I can tell, Harmony brackets are self-ligating, meaning the archwire is held in place by a mechanical mechanism on each bracket rather than the small elastic ties like Incognito or standard (outer side the tooth) brackets.
