Re: Inman aligners

Hi Jen! So nice of you to post to us who are still going through it! So you're still happy 9 months later? That's a good sign! We have been discussing possible relapse after treatment but I'm guessing you haven't had anything like that which is great :) Do you have the fixed retainer? Claire Hi Cla...

Re: Inman aligners

Thanks for replying Jen! I have a bite plane too! I put my brace in today and I'm finding the more I wear it the easy speaking becomes. The soreness isn't so bad now :) I can't wait to start seeing results. How are you finding the retainers are you going to get the fixed bar behind your teeth? Nic ...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi, I've almost finished wearing my Inman aligner and am at the stage where I have to pick the method of retention. My dentist has given me three options:  1) fixed / bonded wire at the back of my front teeth 2) essix retainer - to wear every night forever 3) fixed / bonded wire PLUS essix retainer...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi All, Just back from my appointment, all looking good. Had a little more filing(interproximal reduction) done to allow the tooth to get to its final position but he is 99% sure it will be there by this time next week. So plan is, I go next week, if all is in place he will de-activate the aligner, ...

Re: Inman aligners

Hello, I am new here. I would like to get Inman aligner for my upper teeth. However, I already made a mistake of putting 4 veneers first, but I am not fully satisfied with results. Can I wear Inman over them? It doesn't matter if they crack, I will replace them after I finish wearing Inman aligner ...

Re: Inman aligners

JENWALTON01 - Not been on here for a while, great news that you are nearly done!! :-) have you decided what type of retainer to get? (Fixed wire / removable)...I'm leaning towards the fixed one so long as it doesn't affect my bite... I'm having one of those weeks where I just want to be done with w...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi All, I had my check up yesterday, all looking good, dentist believes I will be done in about 4 weeks :D It's just getting the tooth completely in line with the rest and that'll be it, he was talking about retainers etc, so exciting!! I now just have to be really good and stick to wearing it as of...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi Jen! Well I'm now a week and 2 days in and I literally have no pain, tenderness, aching nor sensitivy regardless of whether my aligners are in or out. Putting them back in causes me 0% pain. I've also seen no movement so wondering whether they aren't tight enough as you say! I've got a check up ...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi Illas15, I remember when I first got mine, for the first week it was ok whilst in, but my teeth really ached when I took it out, then when I popped it back in it would feel very tight but soon got used to it. I always pull the chunky clear plastic bar down on my teeth, whether that is right or n...
