I'm taking week by week pictures and I can see some movement in one of my 'number two' teeth on the top. As some of you guys mentioned in other posts, after a while you just feel like 'whatever' and stop looking out for movement, then before you know it your teeth are substantially straighter! Well ...

Maybe if your ortho has any contacts in the UK he/she can refer you to someone? If not your best option would be to shop around on the internet and email some practices (if you're not already in the UK) to ask if they can pick up your treatment once you arrive.

Since getting braces I've been snacking a lot less mainly because (like you) im constantly thinking of there is food stuck around my braces. I've realised that I'm drinking ALOT more water (which is brilliant, especially for the skin). But like the others have said, yogurt, protein shakes chopped up...

My first meal was a protein shake and some
seedless grapes.

I was on soups for a while, that was after I realised just how stained my bands were getting from certain foods, I tried to stick to foods with minimal or no food colouring at all (fruits, cereal, potato salad, eggs bread etc).
