Hey you're doing awesome!! I can already see such a big difference between before and now! Just hang in there, you are going to be very pleased once it's all over with. I've had my braces off for a little over a month now and trust me, the feeling is so amazing and worth it!!!

I would definitely take some ibuprofen about an hour before your appointment and then maybe again right before you go in. I also second asking them if they can use the topical anesthetic as well. Anything that will make things better for you!! Good luck with everything!!

I would definitely get in touch with your ortho or general dentist ASAP. I've not heard of this happening, and could be a serious sign. Don't freak out though, as nobody can tell you what's really going on besides your ortho/dentist best wishes to you! I hope everything's okay!

I had this exact thing happen! I contacted my ortho and got an appointment right away. I went in and my ortho was happy to make some adjustments to get things corrected just give em a call!
