My biggest piece of advice would be to trust your ortho. They're a trained professional who has dedicated their life to understanding the movement of teeth, and they totally wouldn't steer you wrong (at least, not internationally j would think).

I got my Damon clears a month and a half ago. My first meal was a burger, and as soon as my teeth touched the buns I realized it was a mistake .-.

I just got braces a month ago! I'm 19 and just started college, so I saved up a bunch and decided I'd want to be able to have awesome teeth sooner rather than later :)
