Good Luck Ruca
Mine is meant to be coming out next week (I said that last appointment and did not happen) but hopefully this time it will.... no more looking in mirror trying to find the elusive bit of food tangled in the Expander

The bad news separators are probably one of the most painful part about braces but luckily they are only a couple of weeks. Maybe try taking something to help.

Trust me it improves in a months time you will have forgotten about how bad it is to eat and will be eating pretty much normally again
any weight loss from your braces diet will be regained

Re: Braces-are-go on 31st of July!
Hi Ridingboots, Right now I'm on day 5 and I have sores in my cheeks from where my lower brackets are rubbing. The biggest nuisance is however the bit blocks, I can't chew properly and my ortho says I need to wait for them to wear down... It's quite painful too as the bite block on one side is bigg...

Re: Braces-are-go on 31st of July!
I hope your braces are going well and not hurting to much and hopefully no sores from where they rub.
I had giggle about the metal taste as I thought the same thing when first got brace and now never have the taste of metal.
Enjoy your journey
