Re: Treatment keeps changing!

I'm set to get my Carriere Distalizers off in less than 2 weeks, at which time they'll scan me for my upper Invisalign aligners! I am so excited, and SO ready to get started with that. I didn't feel like my upper teeth were really moving that much, but I guess they've moved enough, so we're doing it...

Re: Starting with Clearstep...

I'm so sorry to hear about your bad experience. From the pictures you posted, you looked so close! Is it still your lateral incisor that's giving you trouble? I can't offer much in the way of advice regarding compensation. Have you tried simply asking them for some sort of concession? Sending you go...

Re: Treatment keeps changing!

Good news: I figured out what those weird plastic brackets are called: Carriere Distalizers! Bad news: I figured it out because one of mine broke :( Just came unglued from my front tooth, leaving it dangling from my molar. I managed to get an appointment to get it fixed, but my ortho was unhappy bec...

Re: 100% Elastic Wear challenge and Public Shaming thread.

I have been so bad! My problem is I'll get a drink (a soda or a coffee or something), and I'll sip it for 30-45 minutes -_- And I can't keep my elastics in because I have Invisalign, and it has to come out when I drink. Argh. I'm pledging here and now to keep it to one non-water drink per day!

Re: How do elastics not pull the tray off?

My situation is a little different (no tray on top, tray on bottom with slits cut for hooks). The hooks stick out far enough so that the elastics don't touch the tray, at least that's the way mine work. So there's no chance tension from the elastic would pull the tray up. I'm probably explaining it ...

Re: 100% Elastic Wear challenge and Public Shaming thread.

I'm in! I'm not supposed to wear them while eating, but I've been pretty lax about putting them back in after meals and coffee and snacks (maybe I should cut back on incidental meals...).

Treatment keeps changing!

Hi, friends! Happy to join this community :) I apologize in advance for the lengthy post; I was just wondering if this sort of thing is normal. End of July, I went in to the ortho recommended by my dentist for a consultation hoping I was a candidate for Invisalign, and the doctor says I was! She est...
