Re: I want my permanent retainers out

[quote="GeenBug"]I didn't have this brf until after my orthodontic treatment was over. Everyone in my family has a pleasant face (like I had before too), but I'm the one with this unfortunate angry face now. Again, my face wasn't like this before. It's not about people getting used to it. ...

Re: I want my permanent retainers out

Hey listen I am not an orthodontist but as someone who stopped wearing her retainer and had her teeth shift majorly and who has to pay for it now on her own....I would really suggest NOT to go that route. Overbites and teeth not meeting makes them really hard to clean, and I really don't think its g...

Normal to have tiny gap?

On my bottom three teeth in the front, there is the tiniest gap between the aligner and tooth (about a fingernail's width). It's the only teeth that are this way...is this normal?

Also I don't feel much pain at all, is this normal as well? I've been doing the 22 hrs :)

First Tray of Invisalign!

It's weird, getting used to it. No one noticed (yet) and I'm gonna wait and see if anyone does. I feel like my mouth is dry a lot! The only issue I have is the eating. I was told 22 hrs was the amount of time I should go for, like the good student I am, I have been doing this by timing it down to th...

So I had a consult...but kinda scared

2nd opinion. They did xrays in the office and all that jazz. Liked the 2nd guy way better. I should mention that I have had more ortho work than anyone I know. i mean it. I had braces as a teen as well as jaw surgery. I didn't wear my retainer as much as I should have, and after a while it didn't fi...

27 and need braces again

Hi new poster here! Glad I found this site! I've had more dental work than anyone I know including braces for years in my teens, jaw surgery at 13. Braces came off at 17 or so and I wore my retainers for a bit....then stopped. Dumbest thing I ever did in my life. Now my teeth have shifted so much. I...
