Re: Damon price question
It really depends. I paid approx. £3,800 (600 upfront and £156 per month for 2 years) and I am very happy with the process so far.

Hi Guys,
I am just after my first adjustment and things are progressing very good (according to my ortho).
I will post some update pictures over the weekend.
Also welcome to new brace faces and good luck with your treatment.

Re: braces adjustment
My orthodontist had me wait 8 weeks for my first adjustment, though it ended up being 9. It'll be 7 weeks for my second adjustment. I have traditional braces. I wouldn't compare your treatment too much to other people's, we all know there are as many different treatments as there are orthodontists....

Re: Wifwolf's Bite - My Braces Story!
hi there, good luck with your braces. Which one are you going for? I'm just about to finish my 1st week with braces and is really not that bad. The most annoying things are definitely wires pocking and irritating inside of mouth and also eating (be prepare for some liquid diet!). But nothing to be a...

Re: My journey has officially started...
Hi, I am braces newbie too and got my braces fitted on Thursday last week. I also have a moments of doubt but each time I see before & after pictures it makes me more positive about the journey ahead. It feels weird with all the technology packed in mouth but I am sure that after 18-24 months it wil...

Re: List of food that can discolour braces
beetroot should be avoided. I just had a "bite" and it stained glue around the brackets straight away.
Luckily I managed to clean it.
How about e-ciggaretes? Anyone had any issues?

Re: braces adjustment
It may be that the wire seems loose because in the beginning a thin, flexible wire is used. I always pushed on mine and it would move. Your next wire will be thicker and will not do that. It will also fit in your brackets more tightly. thanks, hopefully next wire will be less annoying. :)

Re: braces adjustment
I have Damon's and my adjustments are also every 8 weeks. It seems like most of the movement happens in the first 5 or 6 weeks, though. The first 8 weeks seemed very long to me- I was counting down the days until my first adjustment. My wires never seem loose. Is it possible that a door on one of y...

List of food that can discolour braces
Hi all, I am (and probably most of you are) very conscious of eating food that could potentially discoloured braces. I thought that maybe we could start listing food that should be avoided while having clear braces such as Damon Clear, etc. I will start with beetroot. I will have a beetroot soup for...

Ok, thanks,
with damon brace when brushing teeth did you feel like the wire was slightly wobbly? I keep thinking that my upper wire is a bit loose.

Ask them! My ortho offered me 10% discount if paid for the whole treatment in advance.
Good luck!
