Re: How many aligners would have been too many for you

My treatment was 14 trays, but I think I could've managed double that if I had to. Any more though, and I'd have just gone with traditional braces. I love snacking too much!

Re: Does Invisalign cause cavities?

It definitely increases the risk of cavities, but as long as you're sure to clean your teeth and trays after eating and drinking, you shouldn't have a problem. :)

Re: Poll: Did You Have An Allergic Reaction to Invisalign?

My first tray gave me quite a sore throat, but no issues after that. I believe that Invisalign can, however, prolong colds and infections and that it's wise to disinfect your trays regularly while you're unwell.

Re: Invisalign attachments? Overall experience?

I saw my Clincheck before my dentist accepted it, so was aware of how many attachments I'd have and where. Don't worry too much about the number, they're quite discreet - but I would reconsider having attachments on the front teeth as they can be more visible.

Re: My experience don't get Invisilign

It isn't the same everywhere, so it's important to pick an experienced provider. Also, teeth shift back regardless of whether you had ...

Re: How painful can invisalign get?

I found my first tray extremely painful - to the point where I wondered if it was worth it! But after that, the pain rarely bothered me and I got quite used to it. Don't let the pain put you off. :)

Full, detailed video review of my Invisalign experience.

Hello everybody! I started Invisalign in January 2014 and finished in July (14 trays/28 weeks treatment). I'm currently waiting for my retainer. When I was looking into getting Invisalign I spent a lot of time reading forums and blogs trying to learn as much as I could. I really wanted to give back ...
