Two weeks - no change

Two weeks isn't a long time, I know.

But no change at all is a tiny bit disappointing. Has anyone experienced any change over two weeks or am I being ridiculous?

Inman aligner btw

Inman shlurpiness

Day 2. I still sound like a woman with loose dentures and a lisp.
Any advice?

Can you drink with an Inman in?

I know you can't drink hot drinks or things that stain. What about water or is it best to remove it first?

Re: 24-year-old daughter and spring aligners!

Hello, I'm no expert but I've researched heavily. I get my brace today, the same as your daughter (it's called an Inman aligner). The slurring and (and drooling!) apparently lasts up to a fortnight. Can't say I'm looking forward to that but practice makes perfect. The treatment takes around six mont...

Re: Hello from Colorado! Getting braces next week at 34!

Hi Lydime (and others). I'm a 35 year old mum from London. I get my Inman Aligner brace today. Slightly apprehensive, I'm not getting the discreet fixed braces, more the major engineering works, removable one. Apparently I'll slur and drool for a week. Can't wait for that! I've taken a week of of wo...

Getting Inman Aligner today. Any advice for today?

Hi all. I may get to know a few of you over the coming months. I'm 35, English and about to get an Inman. Do you have any specific advice about how to make this as smooth as possible? I'm expecting that when I put it in, I'll feel like it's a major engineering work! I've taken the rest of the week o...

Electric Toothbrush Gunge

Ok. A weird one to start. I have a very good electric toothbrush/ Oral B. I clean it after brushing. Usually. Occasionally, I may just put it down on the sink, I'm not OCD about it. But I nearly always have toothpaste gunge; that murky grey unpleasant stuff that collects in the bottom of the beaker ...
