I eat 'Kilishi', a spicy, hard dried meat originating from West Africa. I play with my braces and poke at them. I eat nuts. I don't brush daily nor do I floss regularly. I eat too many hard foods because I am so hungry or just greedy that I end up breaking my raised bites all of the time.

Whitish particles on the inner cheek tissue because of wire
I discovered some whitish particles on my inner cheek. I freaked out when I first saw it. Then I realized it was because of the constant scratching of my inner cheek with my wire. The one used to tie the springs used for closing the gap from my tooth extraction.
Is this peculiar to me?
