Sorry it's still crap for ya.... After I had bottom 2 teeth extracted, he wired and put power chain on to close sides and one side absolutely cut my gum to shreds. Now I think it was because that was the side I slept on so was digging into gum all night, now I try sleep on my back....snore city :lol...

Yea in 9 weeks and counting! Had them in 26 march. Time given was 2years but hoping finish before then!

Hi ya, it was just the pressure of putting the new wire in, no pain now thankfully. Because i have ceramic on front teeth they kind of wrap the wire around them and tie them in so I reallly felt the pressure :( but I didnt injure anyone so it ok this time! Listen it will get better and the sensitivity will ease, your teeth are adjusting to their new contraption so it does take time. I swallowed everything as i said. Spoon or fork everything to back of mouth, tongue chew it and swallow! good luck and try different painkillers if they not hitting the sp...
