So then your ortho told you that you were done and gave you the date.... were your teeth perfect at the lar appointment and you just have to wait to make the de-band appointment or did you still have adjustments going on? I ask this bc I think I may still have some adjusting to do...

Thanks for the replies - I understand there is no sure way of knowing. At least I won't worry about the possible time lapse in getting the retainer until after I have returned from my trip. Fingers crossed only a few more weeks!

Wow -- great transformation! We're you surprised that you were told another 6 months? I find it very difficult to really predict how long this process takes. Best thing for me is to stop obsessing on the end date but that is difficult to do!

Not sure what is happening but my ortho is adjusting my braces in such a way that my canine teeth are now very big! I think he is trying to push up my incisors and front two teeth and he using the canines as leverage - does this make sense?

Anyone have this done? It's so strange!
