Aww I envy those who can have color powerchains. My ortho only has clear and grey powerchains which is meant for metal or clear braces. So boring... I wish I could have purple powerchains. Clear is just too staining which leavese.no choice but to go with dark grey...:( I ask if I can order different...

I got my bottom set last week and I am glade I didn't get any ulcers:)
As for the color ligs, it has now turned into mint green because I ate curry puffs:p I kinda like the color now too!:)
If I were to get my ligs changed between appointments, it will cost me S$60 which I find it ridiculous.

So I just had both my upper and lower on. Added molar buildups and now my mouth cant close naturally. Theres a big gap in the middle and if I close my mouth, my chin has weird dots and mouth gives a sulky face. I so hate my mouth right now because of molar buildup....

how is the pain level from 0 - 10? I feel uncomfortable more than pain. My pain was like 3/10 for 1day but I feel uncomfortable everytime I smile or open my mouth. I bite my cheeks more then 4times and it bleed badly twice. I guess I will eventually get used to it. Food gets trap there easily too! ...

I just got my molar bands put on. My mouth feels so weird right now. I can't bite down properly. I keep biting on metal and only the 4 molars meet. Is this suppose to be this way? I can't imagine having to chew on it

Ah wow thanks for all your replies!:) i think i will consider getting the portable one first as its compact. How long did your waterpik last? I heard it can grow moulds and fungus too. Its really humid here in singapore though:/

I am thinking of getting a Waterpik before i get my braces on next month. I went to see different kinds and the prices range super different. What do you suggest getting? The cheap and battery operated type S$50? or to invest in getting a good one which is around S$200?

I've got bugs tooth my my lips are forced to meet. After i get my braces, I don't think i could even force them closed anymore :(
