Re: Inman aligners

My composite blobs go below where my bar sits, but at the front my blob is above where my bar sits. An update from me, I'm now officially over 10 weeks in to my IA. Very little movement still. 4 weeks since composites repositioned. Dentist to send IA back to lab to be reset if no further progress wh...

Re: Inman aligners

Hi Squib. I think most of us have composite blobs as it aims the direction of force towards certain teeth. For me I have two on the back of my teeth and one on my front left one (should really learn the proper names of the teeth haha). I wouldn't say any of mine are noticeable, as my front one is ba...

Re: Inman aligners

Had my IA 6 weeks and no movement whatsoever! Been to see dentist today who's repositioned composite blobs. If no further movement at next appointment in 2 weeks, then she's going to send it back to lab to be reset. This has put a big delay in my treatment. Fed up and want it all to be over and done...

Re: Have any of you purchased orthodontic wire cutters?

When I had fixed braces I remember the top wire cutting in to the inside of my mouth something horrid. I ended up filing it down with a nail file - not conventional I know, but it did the trick. Hope you're pain free soon!!

Re: Fast braces newbie

Are fastbraces similar to the inman aligner? I'm 3 weeks in to treatment and my teeth are no longer sensitive. Sometimes I am unaware of the pressure also, and fear it isn't working as I haven't noticed any movement yet :S

Re: How often do you interact with your orthodontist?

I'm using an Inman Aligner and see my dentist every 2 weeks. It's a bit of a nuisance as the surgery is over an hour away, but I guess it will be worth it in the end!!

Re: New Video: Cleanse Freshen Go Retainer/Aligner Wipes

I've been using just a toothbrush and toothpaste so far, but have considered maybe getting Retainer Brite as sometimes I feel the brace tastes a bit metally

Re: Toothbrushes?

I have just invested in a fairly cheap electric toothbrush and what a difference! I am currently 3 weeks in to my inman aligner treatment, and feel the electric toothbrush gives a really effective clean. Most models pause briefly every 30 seconds so you know to move to next quadrant too, which I thi...

Re: Inman aligners

Hello all! I am three weeks into my inman aligner, and so far have not noticed any movement. The pain and sensitivity has subsided now thankfully, as brushing became a dreaded fear morning and night!! My speech is laughable, but I had a clear retainer in for 3 weeks prior to the Inman, as one of my ...
