Got my top braces off today to become a free man.

3.5 years, done!

Haha. I love curry! Everytime I go for an adjustment my ortho always asks, "Was it a good curry?"

Lower braces are off! Ortho said is up to me when uppers come off now. I'm giving them one more month then I will be free.

I have a permanent, bonded retainer on the back of my lowers.

The first few weeks and adjustments are always tough. Once your mouth settles down and you start seeing changes, you'll be fine. Beyond that, they'll just become a normal part of life. After that, you'll just want to get them off. After that, you'll be on the final home stretch to getting them off. ...

So, it's been 3.5 years (already?). Just got back from my regular ortho appt. He made an impression of my lowers so I can get retainers for those. They're coming off in three weeks. Top just have the slightest gap and midline to correct (talking like 1mm here). Possibly, when I get bottom retainers ...

It's more like three years because for 4 months I moved town and was unable to lock down an ortho during this period lol

But still, very happy and so looking forward to getting them off asap!
