Hi all, hope you recovery is progressing ok. I'm banded to make adjustments, and may have a infection in one of the plates in my lower jaw. I've just to keep an eye on it for now & notify them of any changes, but it is a worry. The worst thing for me at the moment tho is my hearing. I feel like ...

Jmp75 I have pressure in my ears - sometimes feels like I'm under water or on a plane, but sometimes it goes really clear & I can hear everything properly. I'm hoping this subsides over time as it's an unpleasant sensation

When I put wax on u braces I just tried to suck air past the wires to dry them out a bit, then mould the wax around the sharp area. The wax will stick better to a dry area, and also one that is not too smooth.

Hi all So today I have eaten a nutrition shake, cottage cheese & pineapple Blended up, and some chicken soup. Am starting to feel some buzzing, fizzing & twitching in my lips & chin so imagine that's the nerves waking up. Has anyone been taking bromelain for swelling ? Has it helped you?...

Right, well I'm all packed - I think!! No doubt there'll be something I've forgotten!

Away to bed now to try & get some sleep. My friend is coming to collect me as I need to be on hospital early.
