I can't wait to see pics until I hit my post count mark. Like you I'm 25 and got braces around the same time you did, at Sept. 6 for me.

It's the same with me too, no pain. I was starting to wonder if the braces aren't working since I thought no pain, no gain haha.

I wasn't offered surgery though, which I am very glad because that is the last thing I want.
