Hang in there! I have found the last few weeks to be the most difficult. Not in terms of pain or anything like that, it's just that the feeling of "I want them off NOW!!" grows stronger by the day. Three days left for me and I swear, if someone handed me a pair of pliers, I'd probably yank...

I was told 6 weeks prior that I would be getting mine off. Three weeks later I had my final check and a couple of minor adjustments. Three weeks after that (this coming Monday), mine are scheduled to come off!

I am a little over a week away from getting mine off, and while I am SO ready for them to go, it has been well worth it for me. I hope your treatment goes well!

My lower lip does cover a small portion of my top teeth. That probably varies from person to person though.

Mine come off on March 2nd, and I am in box elastics as well, so I totally feel your pain. I hope the time flies by for all of us!

Mapleleaf... That's funny. You and I started within a couple of weeks of each other and now we're getting them off at about the same time as well.

I'm sure my nerves will calm once they come off... I hope everything goes well for you!

My Damons come off in a couple of weeks and I admit, I'm a tad nervous. I'm not sure what to expect during the process, and I'm not sure what I expect my teeth to look like without all of this "stuff" on them.

Anyone care to share their experience? Were you nervous?

Part of my treatment package includes whitening. I'm scheduled to have that done the day after my braces come off and my teeth are cleaned. Can't wait!

Mine come off on March 2nd and I already have plans to drive straight from my ortho's office to the mall for a big bag of caramel corn. The one food I have stayed away from completely is popcorn, and I can't wait to get some!

My glue stained a bit as well. You probably notice it way more than anyone else does. I'm not sure there's much you can do about it.

I suffer from bruxism as well. In fact, it's the main reason I got braces. My orhto has been wonderful throughout the entire process. He has made me multiple night guards to wear as my teeth have moved and changed. So, it is possible!

I've gone every three weeks, with the exception of one time which was 4 weeks, since the beginning of my treatment.

Mine come off in 3 weeks... WOO HOO!!!

Thanks for the quick response! I agree that pain = progress... And yes, I've taken some Aleve and that has been a huge help with the pain. I'm hoping it will let up over the next couple of days.

Maybe it's just new to me so things feel a bit odd...
