Re: Hello.....Invu or Clarity? 40 too old?

It is such a coincidence that you've replied to this thread now, it's almost a year old. In May this year I visited a new ortho, decided to go ahead with damon clear, had my models made up but have experienced delays. Finally got a brace on date for Sept only to just loose the job I've been in for 1...

Re: 3 extractions from top, eek!

Thanks so much for your reply, 3 just seems like an awful lot of teeth but hearing that someone else is having 3 removed too does make me feel a little more confident. Hope you don't mind me asking, but which teeth are you having removed? Glad to hear that you'd extractions didn't hurt, hope all goe...

3 extractions from top, eek!

Hi all I've always been reluctant to go through with extracting healthy teeth, however, having had four consultations and been told by each ortho that extractions from the top would be necessary, I've bitten the bullet and decided to go ahead with treatment. I'd accepted that I'd need to have a toot...

Re: What would you do?

Thanks everyone, I've decided to wait. The wedding is a really big event in my life, my husband is best man, and I really want it to be a day to remember for all the right reasons. Any other events as big or meaningful to me really are few and far between. The other reason is money. If I wait until ...

What would you do?

So, I have a brace on date of 10 July for my uppers with two extractions to follow, not sure when extractions will take place as it depends on the movement of my teeth. However, I have a holiday booked and my step brothers wedding in the last fortnight of August and have concerns about the possibili...

Re: Help!

Ok, so I've contacted the dental nurse who has been dealing with me and she has been great. She's speaking to the ortho re tweaking my treatment to cut the cost and about the possibility of just correcting my top arch for the time being. She's also getting info for me re spreading out my payments mo...

Re: Help!

Forgot to mention, I'm not keen on having metal as I have a nickel allergy, and I can arrange payment over a longer period with them but I would have to pay interest which I'm not prepared to do.

Will take a big, deep breath and speak to them honestly on Monday. Thanks again everyone.
