I had the same dilemma as you! In the end I decided to get ceramics as I was conscious about people being able to see them! I've been using the wax but as soon as 1 bit heals, another part of my mouth starts to hurt! Ah well, the delights of having a brace!

I got my braces a week ago and while the pain has subsided on my teeth, the braces are rubbing against the inside of my mouth which has resulted in some painful ulcers. How long does this last?

I'm 25 and just got mine on the top and bottom...had them when I was around 14 but they slowly drifted back!
