Part of Powerchain broken, advise please.

While brushing me teeth I noticed that I have a break in my powerchain on one of my lower molars. It's just the top half of the 'O' that goes over the bracket, so the chain is still intact (apart from that break) It's my first breakage since I was braced 14 months ago I will call the orthodontist to...

Re: Wire not seated in bracket

I have the same thing, the wire isn't inside the bracket on one tooth and it's been like that for a couple of adjustments. But that tooth is quite out of alignment of the other teeth so that is probably why. It's been in the same position for many months now while the other teeth have moved and I've...

Re: hit a dead end... :(

Hi oimysizex, I've been wondering if you'd had your surgery yet. So sorry to hear your still waiting! I thought it was just going to be around 2 months after the appointment you had last. Who did you actually speak to at the hospital, reception or the surgeons secretary ? And are you still seeing th...

Re: Leeds dental hospital?

Hi,
I'm not going to a dental hospital, but am being treated in the orthodontic department of my local hospital, and so far the care has been great. I personally wouldn't worry a bit about it not being private. The waiting times might be a bit longer but the care will be up to standard.

Re: Newbie! Advice please :)

It's going very well so far, i'm completely used to them now. It has been painful and uncomfortable, mainly the first few days, then just a few teeth at the time, but pain has meant movement and it's not that bad really. I have had a lot of movement already. It's really exciting to see and makes it ...
