Ear pain/deafness

Anyone else have issues with their ears after lefort 1?
My see feels as though it's gone numb/blocked only some of the time isn't exactly painful but just feels blocked.
Head my surgery in June, so am pretty sure most of the sweeping is completely gone!

I failed to ask what kind of jaw exercises I should be doing. Any ideas or experiences great fully rec...

Thanks guys! Spoke with my ortho and she thinks it'll be another few visits and then removal! I still cannot open my jaw very wide, is this still normal? I'm two months post op of upper jaw surgery only.... Not sure why I can't open my jaw very wide? Ortho seems to think it will get better with time...

Flying post op

Any one know the guidelines for flights?
I had my upper jaw done a week ago and have been told I don't need to be back at the orthodontist for two weeks :)
Thinking of recovering in the sun but unsure if flying is safe?
Thanks

Re: Surgery hooks

Hey, no not particularly bad or anything I was just wondering. To describe them as hooks is a bit of an over statement, there just a pointy metal but with a little ball on the end that they stick in between the brackets. To be honest I was asking out of curiosity mainly. That and she clamped them on...

Re: June2013 buddies? Surgery on upper or both jaws

So guys not long before your surgery date! I've already started my count down of amazing dinners I must eat before surgery. Tonight was roast lamb with rosemary and garlic along with all the usual trimmings.
What are you guys filling up on, planning for your last meal?

hey, mine changed an awful lot in the first few months of braces.
I would trust the orthodontist, they know what they are doing.
