Re: "A Very Difficult Case!"
Eek, it's been awhile since I stopped by here! I had a consultation with the dental surgeon last July 17th, and tomorrow is the day my two bottom wisdom teeth are removed. One step closer! The consultation went well and the surgeon said it'd be rare if I had any complications. We looked at my x-rays...

Re: Sunshiney Saga
Sounds like a plan! Think about it as time to enjoy the pre-braced life now that you know what lies ahead! Will you be having a family BBQ by chance? Would be the perfect opportunity to get your fill on stuff like steak and corn on the cob

Re: "A Very Difficult Case!"
Hahah, Sunshine, I have you beat! Though I don't think I want first prize for that one! And I think getting a cleaning before braces are fixed on might be a good idea, and I read lots of people doing the same on this board. But they steer clear away from whitening until afterwards, I think? Most of ...

Hello Winkos and welcome! I also have a deep bite. I love this forum too, there's so much info to absorb and it makes the process of going through dental treatment more bearable
How are your first days in braces so far?

Re: "A Very Difficult Case!"
Thank you, Winkos! And thank you, Sheryl 54! I've managed to convince my mom to go in for a dental checkup :) I hope everything goes well for you, too! Your 8 spacers go in tomorrow, wow! How long are they staying in for? Hopefully they're not too much of a pain in that time! Hi Sunshine! My next ap...

Re: "A Very Difficult Case!"
My root canal tooth is on the other side 8) I put up a pic with it circled because it's a bit hard to notice at first, how smooth the top of that tooth is. The blue splotch shows the size of the filling. Both roots had been filled too (one only partially?). So yeah, much of that tooth is gone! I wil...

Re: Sunshiney Saga
I agree on them forgetting we have a budget. I know whats right is best but if something else is suitable and considerably less then at this point Im going the cheap route. Im pushing myself to even do this because I feel like Im wasting money....you know the whole mom vs kids needs. It's so appall...

Pictures taken at the ortho office. Sorry for the random scratches and paper particles! I need to wipe my scanner
You can see the bone loss area more clearly in these ones, as well as the bite and alignment issues.

Re: "A Very Difficult Case!"
I feel you, SunshineRay! It's sometimes hard to be patient and relaxed, even though fixing your teeth should be a very positive experience. With cases like ours with so much going on in the mouth, I wish it were as simple as going in and getting them fitted ASAP. It also feels so good to just get ev...
