I just got my braces of last week. I'm picking up my retainers, tomorrow. I got a Hawley on the bottom, in Silver/clear glitter. Then, an Essex on top. My teeth have shifted, a little, in spots, so I cant wait to get them on!

My Ortho actually pulled my two top teeth up. Which, I wasn't to happy about! Your ortho can bend the wire to make your tooth/teeth come down or up in my case more, to line up, more.

I'm trying to lose weight. I'm 5'6" and 200 lbs. baby weight. So, I've lost 35 lbs, since getting my braces on. I'm also doing bootcamp, eating very clean and drinking protein shakes. I ride horses, too. It's a good thing!

Mine close all the way. They didn't before, when I had my over bite. I'm 16 months into treatment and my bite is pretty straight, now.

My ortho has 2 assistants. They take off wires, he makes adjustments to wire and looks around and instructs them if I need elastics or something small. But, he does the adjusting.

I got my braces same day as X-rays, molds and everything. I already knew I was going to them, because a few friends had braces with them, and I liked their results.
