I think the title sums it up! Currently on attempt 4 to be debraced and not sure its going to happen this time either. Most of the big stuff has gone to plan but possibly down to me being overly picky towards the end and trying to get one tooth right other things have started to go wrong every time....

I was due to be having if off next appointment so probably is worth trying to see him before that. Bit worried now that it'll be stuck like this now and won't move back?

Do you think I should wait for my next appointment or try and see him before that?

I think it's an easy thing for her to say when she has maybe one or two teeth that cross slightly! Its also slightly insulting to those of us who have gone down the route of braces. Never liked her anyway......

I'm a bit reluctant to make a special trip as i dont think there is actually any room to move the bracket down anyway.

I'm adopted the same technique for eating and i just don't close my mouth if I can help it - major jaw ache sometimes though!

I've had my brace on for about a month now and as soon as the bottom went on I could feel my top right canine hitting the bottom bracket on one side but thought it might just be because I was getting used to them. Now everything has settled down, there definately is a bracket clash going on one side...

I was told by one of the orthos that I saw that elastics will temporarily reduce the overjet but it will move back in a couple of months. Having said that, I have read stories on here of people being treated with elastics with a view to it being permenant! It's all awfully confusing....

allymac mine were still pretty bad after 4 days. I'd say about a week or so the pain had reduced and my ulcers and scrapes started healing up. I'm over 3 weeks now and still get a bit of pain and rubbing if I talk too much but nothing like the horrendousness of the first few days!
