I am not in a hiring position, but I do see some not-so-subtle age discrimination at work. I vote to keep them on!

I freaked out so bad the couple of nights before the big date. It totally interrupted my sleep, and I have narcolepsy.

I did it and I'm so happy I did. My teeth weren't that bad either. Nobody else thought I needed braces, but I knew I'd feel better if I got them. I do feel better already.

I know from experience that some people are VERY put off by harsh words and harsh tones, and will do anything to get as far away from it as possible. They could easily have seen that as you wanting to get away from them! (hence the "braces off" scenario)

I remember them telling me the glue is intended for teeth, not crown material, and that there may be problems trying to keep the brakcet on.
