One of my brackets fell off about 2 weeks ago and my orth could only fit me in yesterday to fix it. My next regular scheduled adjustment appointment was not until 10/27. After the tech fixed it, he told her to do the full adjustment and move my next appointment out 6 more weeks. So... I have a new t...
I noticed recently that my teeth seem to be getting worse particularly on the bottom. I have a small gap right in the middle and one tooth that was not "leaning back" is now doing so. Does it get worse before it gets better? When should I be alarmed that things are not going well?
I'm 35 and wondered the same thing after I got mine on... What was I thinking???? But it's been 2 months now and the time is just flying by. You'll get used to them (it took me about 2-3 weeks) and then you won't even notice them. Just keep your eye on the prize!
Well I'm finally used to these puppies and I can see some significant progress in such a short amount of time. I've attached some new pictures for your review... let me know what you think. :D These were taken today. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a274/nanhut/9-15small.jpg http://i13.photobucket....

What are these things called? 2. She said that it is wire so it doesn't discolor like th...
It's been three weeks and things are finally settling down. My teeth don't hurt as much and I'm able to eat most things using my molars only. I am glad that the pain has subsided and feel like I'm getting used to them. I didn't think it would ever happen. I've been exceptional in keeping them clean....
I'm nearing two weeks and I'm feeling better. I've been able to eat different things on the back of my teeth but the fronts are still very sensitive. I'm still dealing with the fact that I feel like a chipmunk since my mouth is so small and my braces are so big. It's a funny feeling but I'm sure in ...
Thanks Rogers and Attagirl2. I'm going to take your recommendations and pick up some other products. I'm hoping that things will settle down. I don't go back to the ortho for 5 more weeks. Seems like a long time. Is that typical? 6 weeks in between appts? I'm not sure.
Jean-I understand what you are saying about the biting the inside of the mouth. Right now my teeth are really sore and that's all I seem to be thinking about.
