Re: Tongue Trainer/Tongue Basket

Thanks, klobird. My speech being affected is what's bugging me the most. I work HR for a retailer & we are knee-deep in holiday hiring season. I sound very unprofessional now when I speak to applicants. :0(

Re: Tongue Trainer/Tongue Basket

Well I got the tongue trainer today & I despise it. It impedes my tongue function with both speaking & chewing. :0/

Tongue Trainer/Tongue Basket

Do any of you guys have experience with a tongue trainer/tongue basket? I'm having one placed tomorrow and I'm a bit apprehensive. Silly question: Is this a removable or fixed appliance? I'm worried about what eating will be like with this appliance in place. It seems like it would impede proper che...

SinsterShortcake's Story

Hi, group! I'm 36 years old and had been wanting braces for a while after I noticed some buckling in my teeth a few years ago. I just now am able to afford braces so I went for it. I had to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed before I could move forward with my treatment. It was not a pl...

Re: Records Appointment!

Hi there! My process went: consultation visit, spacers visit (I wore this set of spacers for 2 weeks), records visit (x-rays, photos, impressions, original spacers removal, down payment), spacers visit (inserted into same spots as original spacers but I only have to wear these for 4 days), then I ge...
