Did the orthodontist tell you exactly why you would be using headgear? Is this something he discussed as a possibility for your treatment plan when you first started or was it a total surprise?

Your teeth look so great! You have had so much progress in such a small amount of time! I'm sorry you're not getting the support that you'd like from your mom but you have to be strong and know that you are doing something amazing for yourself and that is a wonderful thing!

Hi, I was looking at your photos. Your diastema seems to be just a bit wider than mine. How do they close this, do you? Do they move ALL the teeth over in the arch? Is that why you have to wear brackets on the bottom teeth as well? Or is it to give the elastics something to pull on? I still haven't...

Congratulations on getting started! I'm on week 1 right now. My advice would be not to worry about the staining. Your teeth don't look bad and most people get whitening after removing the braces anyway.

I have a problem with Invisalign's marketing to teens and adults. Even their name is extremely deceptive. The word Invis align and claims that they are an "invisible" alternative to braces is simply a lie. If you have spaces in your teeth, there is no way that invisalign will be invisible....
