Very helpful - thank you! My children are new to braces and I want to make the experience as comfortable as possible for them...yet having never had braces that seems like a huge task, so I appreciate you sharing your favorites!

My daughter has the best luck with Aquaphor. I wish I could find it in a tube with a lip applicator. The best I can find right now is the small tubes, but it's not "applicator-style", if that makes sense. It works really well for her though, so I can't complain too much about the top of it.

My daughter loves this brush, too. I'm hoping I can find them online somewhere so she has more than just the one they gave her. She carries it in her pocket for school, so I'm always afraid it will get lost.

Wow, I'm glad I came upon this thread. My son is new to braces and was recommended the Super Floss by the ortho office. I will definitely avoid it and look for the other ones mentioned.
