I developed a dental phobia about 11 and refused to get braces, would've been NHS for me then.

Paid at 24 for ceramics and glad it's over-hope to never go through it again.

The only ever pain I really felt adjustment wise was the initital power chain that I had put on, that did hurt

If I had been brave enough for metals and then colours I would have alternated teal and lilac, as they are my 2 favourite colours. I had ceramics so only ever had clear or tooth coloured ligs/power chains.
