I have tongue tamers for my tongue thrust and the first week was awful. The bright side is that they are meant to re-train your tongue and it seems to be working for me bc they don't hurt me anymore and I have figured out a new way to place my tongue. I do still sound funny and I'm on phones all day...

I'm probably about a 1. I'm not really aware of them anymore and if anything, I hope people realize I'm doing something positive for myself. I am self-conscious when I think I have food stuck in them, though.

I agree! The treatment coordinator where I went for my last consultation had the Damon metal brackets on and one of the assistants had the Damon clear on. It was nice to see what they really look like on someone.

I like it! I bet it will look good in your pictures because you will have more of a defined tooth.
