Food is not a problem for me after the first four days when my teeth were very sensitive.

I was offered a choice of tops one week and bottoms the next BUT I did not want to have to drive back in again (an hour both ways) and I also did not want to wait. So I got both.
I also have an over bite so they put temporary filling on my back upper molars so I can not bite on front bottom brackets.
