This is correct. The doctor can alter your retainer to move certain teeth. In my case , I have a very slight over correction and my ortho made a slight adjustment so that my left front tooth will slide to where it needs to go.

I had my app. today....seems I will be in my braces another 3-4 months....I really thought id be getting them off in July, but it seems that isn't the case. I guess the tweaking stage is the longest, most frustrating stage of getting braces....so close, yet so far away....

I am SO ready to get them off. Originally, I was told that I would "more than likely" get them off in March.....
It seems though that my bottom teeth are just be stubborn and not moving quickly....aarrrghh!

Yeah the ipr was for the bottom. Guess they will probably have to do it again on my next app.

I thought about this when I first got my braces....So What I did was, made sure I could put down a hefty down payment. I ended up putting down $2000, to insure that my monthy payments wouldn't be that much. Then I sent about $100 more than my contract payment every month, just incase something happe...
