I've read on others blogs that a rhino should not be performed at the time of jaw surgery. It's best to wait until you've healed from jaw surgery to determine whether it's still necessary. Some OMS do perform rhinoplasties however.

I would caution against a chin implant as the look can become unnatural as you age since the implant doesn't change along with the rest of your facial bones. I would think if it's only slighly recessed, fillers might do the trick. Or consider a second sliding genio...

I haven't had surgery yet (12/17 is my D day!) but another blogger I follow said to make sure before you go into surgery to tell one of the nurses. They will work with you to help you out. If you're taking BCPs you could always start the next pack to prevent that month's cycle.
