Last time i saw the dentist was 3 weeks ago, I rang when i was experiencing the pain and couldn't even drink and was told to use sensodyne toothpaste and reduce the time i was wearing the aligner, i rang up when i noticed the bruising and have been given an appointment for today so i'm going in late...

Hiya, Well... I had the standard clear front fitted on my IA on tuesday last week... I was fine if nt a little tender the first 2 days or so, but since sunday I'm having awful pains in one of my teeth that the IA is working on... Kinda like a nerve pain as though biting into something freezing cold....

Well, I have an overbite and an overjet, my dentist kept saying about breaking my jaw and resetting it and not about a brace but the overbite doesn't bother me, I just want my teeth straight so the overjet correcting, in the end I went through a private cosmetic dentist that specialises in cosmetic ...

I've had my brace since Thursday and so far so good, the first day was protein shakes, second day spaghetti hoops...and today i've managed pizza and also pitta bread earlier on, my front teeth hurt like hell at first so i broke it into smaller pieces and got on a lot better! When i was younger I had a gap in my front teeth...i hated it!! At this point i had no intention of having a brace so my dentist built it up using composite... you wouldnt be able to tell it wasnt my real teeth, i have had no problems with it, every 2-3 years or so it does chip slightly but the dent...

I got my inman on Thursday, I've had composites put on my front teeth and i have a clear powerchain on at themoment which i have to wear for 4 weeks to straighten my teeth (as i have an overjet) before then having the powerchain changed to the normal aligner style, The powerchain sits on the bottom ...
